Currently, I am an undergraduate student at The Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Editing, Writing, and Media. Though these majors take up most of my academic schedule, I try to take other courses on other subjects as well, such as film, mass media, and anthropology, to broaden the scope of my education.
Before attending Florida State, I graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program at St. Petersburg High School in St. Petersburg, FL. This rigorous academic program strives to give students a well-rounded education, encouraging a global world-view and the consideration of several different disciplines in the process of problem-solving. As an IB student I was required to take several oral and written examinations in seven different subject areas and complete a 4,000 word paper on the topic of my choice to be eligible for a diploma.
